Permanence is an illusion. There is a constant in the universe and that is change. Nothing is permanent and the entire universe is in a constant state of flux, ever changing, ever moving, and that permanence being nothing more than a mere illusion, ceaselessly into eternity. This illusion, causes all sorts of problems for us humans. One of the problems human’s face is that we cling to something as if it were permanent. By embracing the illusion of permanence, we set ourselves up for suffering. We become discouraged and afraid when this illusion is shattered and things change. This is a sad but true reality.
I understand that nothing is forever. People are often afraid of making changes in their own personal lives because change is often so very difficult, at least initially, and places one in a new set of circumstances, which is often very uncomfortable. We prefer the safety of our condition because we know what to expect.
You clearly know the fact. I don't see any problem in you applying it for yourself. Btw, your interview with god was outstanding. I enjoyed every bit of facts involved in that. Gud nit.

ReplyDeleteYou can sit here and feed anyone words saying they are wrong. however, you can't change how they feel...
ReplyDeleteChange is the only thing that never changes.

ReplyDeleteEvery day is a constant reminder that what I feel is real... Whether I apply it or not.
